Aditi Ashok first Indian girl to win a Ladies European Tour event

Indian girl Aditi Ashok capped a brilliant show to got the Indian Open title. She became the first girl from India to claim a European Tour event. Aditi Ashok the 18-year-old shot an even par-72 in the final round and win the title.

Carrying a two-stroke overnight lead Aditi scored three-under 213, one stroke clear of Brittany Lincicome of the US and Spaniard Belen Mozo who finished tied second.

About Aditi Ashok:

Aditi Ashok born on 29 March 1998. She is a professional golfer. She also qualified for Summer Olympics 2016.

Aditi is the youngest and first Indian girl to win Lalla Aicha Tour School. With this achievement she has been selected for European Tour Card for the season 2016.

With the winning of this title she became the youngest winner of a Q School for an international tour. She is only girl golfer from India to play played the Asian Youth Games (2013), Youth Olympic Games (2014), Asian Games (2014) and Rio Olympics (2016).

Aditi Ashok won the 2016 Hero Women’s Indian Open with a score of 3-under-par 213, and became the first Indian to win a Ladies European Tour title.
