British Prime Minister Theresa Mary came to Delhi, India on a three-day visit(November 6 to November 8) to develop Indo-UK relations in the important areas of investment, trade, defense and security.

About Theresa Mary May – British Prime Minister:

Theresa is the PM of the UK she belongs to Conservative Party, in office since July 2016. She has also been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Maidenhead since 1997. She replaced the former prime minister David Cameron. She is second woman Prime Minister of United Kingdom . First female Prime Minister of UK was Margaret Thatcher.

India and United Kingdom on Monday inked two pacts with British PM Theresa Mary arguing for a bilateral free trade arrangement, distinct from New Delhi’s proposed deal with the EU. Theresa May and PM Modi signed the two Memorandums of Understanding – one on intellectual property (IP) and another for bilateral cooperation on raising ease of doing business.
