TANA – Telugu Association of North America Foundation USA has disclosed an announcement regarding students of Andhra Pradesh (Telugu students who are residing in AP now). TANA foundation is awarding scholarships to the Andhra Pradesh Telugu students who wish to pursue higher studies in USA (United States of America) for the year 2015 2016.

TANA is offering total 7 scholarships. Each selected candidate will receive $500 every semester (total of $2000) depending on the grades attained in the previous semester and a request from the recipient to Telugu Association of North America foundation stating that the candidate completed the program (course) with success in the last semester.

Scholarship of TANA Foundation 2015 – 2016 – Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have been got admission in Graduate School in a United States University in 2015 – 16 academic year are eligible. Students who are settled in United States of America are not eligible to get TANA scholarship 2015. Capable and willing applicant has to submit a financial aid. Foundation of TANA – Telugu Association of North America also receive the information of the candidates needs independently through its sources other than the information provided by the candidate. If any candidate will get the scholarship of TANA, he has to promise to help TANA Foundation by providing financial assistance with in 3 years after came to United states. Any TANA scholarship selected candidate need to in touch with the foundation of TANA on 1/2 yearly basis up to his oath is fulfilled.

Scholarship of TANA will be depend on the need, merit and recommendations, attained scores in GRE, TOEFL, reputation of the Institution (College/University) in India (where the candidate’s graduation completed), Reputation of the school in America (North) where the student willing to study higher education, Candidates desired course for higher education in US, field of education in which the student planning higher education, talent in extracurricular activities, candidate must be Telugu student from Andhra Pradesh.
