* BrahMos  Supersonic air version cruise missile was test fired successfully from Sukhoi-30  MK-I (Supersonic fighter aircraft) from Chandipur Integrated Test Range at the  coast of Odiha.

* Forbes magazine   released its 17th annual ramking of the Most Powerful Women of the world. From India four woman got place in this list. Renuka Jagtiani, Kiran Mazumdar. Nirmala Sitharaman and Roshni Nadar Malhotra got place in this prestigious list. Indian finance minister Nirmalasitharama got 41st place in the list. Chief Executive Officer of HCL Enterprise Roshini Nadar Malhothra go t 55th place.

*  PM Narendra Modi launched the Shourya Canal National Project today. This project will able to give water for irrigation to over  fourteen  lakh hectares of land and  it helps about 29 lakh farmers.

* Harnaaz Sandhu got Miss Universe title for the year 2021. The event held in Eilat, Israel.

14th December, Current Affairs:

* 14^th December is National Energy Conservation Day.

* India has invited five countries which are belongs to central Asia namely, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to attend as chief guest for Republic Day celebrations, 2022.

* A bill is passed by parliament to extend the tenure of the director of the CBI to a maximum of 5 years. Previously this duration is 2 years.

* In Lok Sabha, The Election Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021, has been passed through voice vote. The main aim of the bill is  to link adhaar mnumber with voter ID card.

* this bill also provides the chance to enroll in a year as voter four   times upon attaining 18 years of age.     

* Kidambi Srikanth bagged silver medal in BWF World Championships Men’s singles final. Srikanth defeated by Loh Kean Yew of Singapore in the  finals.
