Prelims Examination Details:
WBCS Prelims exam will consist of only one paper, that is, a paper on General Studies.
Questions: 200
Marks: 200
Duration of Exam: 2½ hours

There will be two papers of optional subject of 200 marks each.

Personality Test:
Job grabbers selected for the main examination (Written / Objective) will be called to participate at a Personality Test. The test will be conducted to access the applicants personal ebilities like alertness of mind, power of clear and logical exposition, intellectual and moral integrity, leadership and also the candidate‘s range of interests.
Marks for the Personality Test:
Group A & B: 200 Marks
Group C: 150 Marks
Group D: 100 Marks
Selection Procedure:
