Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is an excellent scheme for social welfare of our PM Narendra Modi. This program started on 01-05-2016 from Uttar Pradesh Ballia. LPG connections will be offered to the eligible BPL household candidates in India under this Pradhan Manthri Ujjwala Yojana program.

Important Objectives of PMUY – Pradhan Mantri Yojana Program:

» PMUY program’s target is to provide Five 5 – Crore connection in the name of women who are ate Below Poverty Line (BPL) in the country.
» The govt of India has set an aim to offer 5 Crore LPG gas connections to distribute the Bellow Poverty Line house holds around the county.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana – How to apply for this scheme:

» Candidates who are eligible for this BPL (Bellow Poverty Line) may apply for this PMUY scheme by completing the KYC form of Ujjwala Yojana.
» BPL people who want to use this scheme must complete two page application form and pin all required certificates along with the form.
» The basic and important details like candidate name, contact details, jandhan or bank pass book details, aadhar number etc details must be filled in this PMUY application form.
» Applicants have to select the cylinder type that is 14.2KG or 5KG.
» All candidates can download KYC applications for PM Ujjwala Yijana from online and submit it at nearest LPG outlet after attaching all required certificates.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana Eligibility Criteria:

» Depending on the data of SECC-2011 the identification of BPL families will be prepared.
» The candidates information will be present in the list of SECC 2011.
» All the beneficiaries must be women and they must be above 18 years age.
The women applicant should belong to BPL (Below Poverty Line).
» The main thing is that all the applied candidates must be at bellow poverty line (BPL).
» All the women who want to get benefit of this program should have an bank account in any nationalized bank in India.
» No person must not has an LPG connection in the family who want to get a gas connection.

Budget and Funding of PMUY – Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana:

» The Indian government arranged about Rs 2000 crore for this PMUY – Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana for the year 2016 – 2017.
» Indian government will offer LPG gas cylinder connection approximately to 1.5 crore BPL (Bellow Poverty Line) families for this running year.
» Rs 8000 Crore has been allotted from the union budget for this PMUY scheme to implement up to 3 years
» This PMUY scheme will be maintained by the money which will be saved through LPG subsidy through the “Give-it-Up” campaign.

» Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana PMUY scheme offers an economical support of Rs 1600 for every Liquid Petroleum Gas LPG connection to the BPL household who are fit for this scheme.
