  2. The assembly elections were conducted in 4 States and one Union Territory. Bharatheeya Janatha Party (BJP) retains power in ASSAM. Trunamool Congress attained power in West Bengal. LDF Party got power in Kerala. DMK won in assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

  1. The State Government of Bihar has imposed Lock Down from 5th May due to covid 19 cases increase.
  2. Mark Selby achieved the world championship to 4th time in Snooker. He defeated Shaun Murphy and won the championship at Crucible theater, Sheffield.

  1. Kerala Government declared complete lock down in the State from  May 8th to 16th May due to covid pandemic.
