Maulana Azad National Scholarship 2016 : Maulana Azad National Scholarship for Meritorious Girl Students of India: Maulana Azad Education Foundation has announced Maulana Azad National Scholarship. Maulana Azad National Scholarship-Amount Value:

Rs 12,000 (Rs 6,000 in XI & Rs 6,000 in XII)

Eligibility – Maulana Azad National Scholarship:

National Minority girl students only eligible for this scholarship that are Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis.
The girl students who are belongs to the above communities are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Candidates should have 55% of marks in 10th class or SSC Exam.
Exam should be conducted by the Centre or State Board of Secondary Education which is recognized by the government.
The girl child parental annual income must be below Rs.1, 00,000/-.
Students Admission in XI class must be in an institution which is identified by the Govt at state or central level or other equal authority.
Every girl student can apply for this Scholarship only once.
If the student is getting any scholarship from other sources is not eligible to avail this scholarship.

Maulana Azad Education Foundation – Information:

The Foundation was inagurated on the occasion of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s birth centenary celebrations. His life was filled with many outstanding achievements in different fields. He was towering figure on the Indian political scene and a scholar rated high in the realms of Urdu Literature.

To this, Maulana Azad added a trend-setting innings as a journalist. But his greatest claim to fame was his service as a thinker with a world vision and humanist outlook. A dogged freedom fighter and an un-failing upholder of secular and democratic values. Maulana Azad deserves to be introduced afresh to the modern generation of Indians.

The Foundation is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit making social service organization, established to promote education amongst educationally backward sections of the Society. It is fully funded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India. The Honorable Minister of Minority Affairs is Ex-Officio President of the Foundation. This Organization was registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 on 6th July 1989.

The General Body of the Foundation consists of 15 members out of which six members are ex-officio including the President, MAEF and rest nine members are nominated by the President, MAEF. The management of the Foundation is entrusted with its Governing Body, which consist of six members (including President, MAEF) selected from amongst the members of the General Body.
