1ST September 2020 Current Affairs:

2nd September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • Indian government has banned 118 China apps (Applications) along with most popular app PUBG. Ministry of Information and Technology banned all these applications.
  • Union Cabinet of India permitted Mission Karmayogi scheme for civil servants. It is a skill development scheme.

  • WHO (World Health Organization) recommended steroid drugs in the treatment of Covid19 disease.
  • India is going to host Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit of council of heads on 30th Nov 2020.

7th September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • HSTDV (Hypersonic Technology Demonstration Vehicle) is successfully tested from Odisha coast. It will be useful to operate futuristic missile system and aircraft. India got the forth place after United States, Russia and China are in three places respectively in this advanced technology.
  • Metro services have been resumed today in many cities in the country after a long gap of five months.
  • International day for clean air for blue skies is being celebrated for the first time globally.

8th September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • 8th September is International Literacy Day and the day is being celebrated around the globe. This special day was started in the year 1996 to enhance the literacy percentage globally.
  • Indira Gandhi Peace Prize is awarded to Sir David Attenborough for the year 2019.

10th September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • PM Modi digitally inaugurated the PMMSY – Pradhan Manthri Mathsya Sampada Yojana scheme.
  • S Jaishankar is going to attend the meeting of the Foreign ministers of the 8 member Shanghai Cooperation Organization at Moscow.
  • Actor Paresh Raval is selected as Chairperson of the National School of Drama.
  • 10th September is World Suicide Prevention Day. The day is observed worldwide to stop suicides.
  • Reliance Industries got the name as the first Indian company to cross $200 billion in the market valuation.

11th September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • TKR – Trinbago Knight Riders defeated ST Lucia and win the Caribbean Premier League in the final.

12th September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • Above 3.6 million Corona diseased patients have recovered in the country. The recovery rate of Covid 19 has been raised to 77.7%.
  • India’s fists Covid 19 testing facility was started at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
  • Laura Seigemund and Vera Zvonareva won the US Open Womens’s Doubles. They have defeated China’s Yifan and Nocole Melichar of the US by 6-4 ans 6-4.

13th September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • Narendra Modi, PM of India dedicated to the nation 3 key project related to the Petroleum sector in Bihar through video conferencing. In this project the three important things are the Durgapur Baankaa section of the Pradeep Haldia – Durgaapoor Pipeline Augmentation Project and two LPG Bottling Plants in Banka and Champaran.
  • Astra Zeneca and Oxford University have stopped the clinical trials of Corona Virus vaccine in UK after a short safty pause.
  • Director Chloe Zhao is the 1st lady to win the Golden Lion at the Film Festival at Venice for her film Nomadland. Chaithanya Tamhane won best screenplay award for his film The Disciple in Marathi.
  • 2nd US Open won by Naomi Osaka. She defeated Victoria Azarenka in the US Open final of 2020.

14th September 2020 Current Affairs:

  • Harivansh, NDA candidate selected as Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha again.
  • 14th September is Hindi Divas and the day is celebrated all over India. On the same day, in the year 1949 that the constituent assembly adopted Hindi written Devanaagari as the official language of the country.
  • Yoshihide Suga was selected as the Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) new head. He replaced PM Shinzo Abe. Last Month he declared his resignation due to his ill health.
  • Dominic Theim won over Alexander Zverev and got US Open Grand Slam Title for the first time.
  • TCS – Tata Consultancy Services became the 2nd Indian firm and got 9 lakh crore market valuations after Reliance Industries Limited.
